Written for a friendI cannot put myself into your shoes Cannot begin to imagine what you feel To have held an angel and had to let him go To honor a day of birth Held in the memory of death Nothing to do that can make it easier Nothing can be said I'll listen if you want to speak Say nothing if that helps in any way I see the pain you try to hide not sure what to do in this moment in time A day that should be joyful, but the angel is gone from your life I pray each day comes easier for you hope you can hold onto some happy memories but I cannot help you in any way &nbWritten for a friend

Forgiveness, a re-writeI held onto anger- it bound my soulForgiveness, a re-write
I thought of revenge- it almost took control
I let go of these emotions that only harmed me:
sudden rush of freedom overpowering sense of love powers came returning a floodgate opened up
you'll get what's yours I'll take what's mine letting go of anger freeing up my mind forgiveness is a ways off but in sight down the road

a more positive outlookChange of perspective is what I need and a mind block from negativity So tired of peoples bitching and complaining: wake up and go to someone who can fix it already! focus on the solution and not the problem and remember: "opinions are like assholes: everybody's got one." Cancer will no longer be tolerated Tearing others apart is overrated I'm considering another golden rule "Speak about others as you would have them speak about you." Yes, these words are as much for me as for you each day we have a choice, I know what I will now do.a more positive outlook
